One of the last things I need to decide on is whether I want to use shredded cheddar or cheddar sauce for my dogs....

    Which do you prefer?

    Thanks

Sliced Kraft American melted onto toasted potato bun, followed by hot dog, then onion, then mustard.

I prefer shredded, but I think the sauce would be much easier for you.

Ideally shredded by the company that makes it. Reality is a Kraft single torn to pieces by my fingers.

I prefer shreds. What city in Pa are you in and have you opened yet?

All my internet search efforts failed.

    Yes! (Either!)

And GRILL the dogs. Don't 'drown them' in hot water. . . boiling.

And tomato, onions, mustard. (Salsa is good on a 'dog', too!)

"Nobody, I mean nobody should put Ketchup on a hotdog!!!"

Sauce on a plain dog, shredded on a chili dog is how I roll.

Shredded for a gourmet dog like you want to sell. Sauce is for gas station dogs.

"Cheese sauce" isn't cheese. It's barely food. Use real cheese.

Cheese and hot dogs don't mix. Same as ketchup and dogs. This ain't Russia, comrade.

If the dogs are proper quality, and of course, the viennas are, you don't need any toppings. Maybe a hint of brown mustard.

People pile crap like chili and cheese onto inferior quality dogs to mask the disgusting taste of lips and toenails. You don't need that.

We are talking about hot dogs which aren't exactly high on the real-food scale.
