Im new to the forum. Just wanted to say hi.
    This is my first Glock.
    A Gen 4 G23.
I really like the size. It carries well.
I plan on picking up a 9mm barrel for it. Just for some versatility at the range.

    Thanks for the warm welcome!
Im looking at the 9mm conversion barrels from Lone Wolf and Storm Lake.
Do you all have any personal preferences on these brands.
I have heard that the Storm Lake barrel may take some gun smithing to fit, where as the Lone Wolf barrel advertises as a direct drop in.
Any thoughts or advice is welcomed. Thanks

    Hi fellow PNWer!

I have done a lot of reading on conversion barrels and it seems like Lone Wolf quality dropped off in the last couple years. It sounded like Storm Lake was still ok. However I have no experience and no idea if that is true.

I was torn between at 10mm or 460 for my G30 and went with the 460. Storm lake did the 10mm barrel and had good reviews but required extractor mods.

Edit: this doesn't apply to the G23, just sharing what I learned.
