My old man has been complaining as long as i can remember about his colt .25 that he sold in the 70's. I've been on the lookout since i was 21 & finally found one new in the box. The gun is mint, the box is showing some age. He was so thrilled to have it back & it certainly felt great to give it to him.

It's actually a pretty cool little pistol. The shop has another one, not quite "mint" but i may grab it for myself.

Excellent way to spend some cash! I think that as a person gets older they begin to really appreciate the sacrifices thier parents made for them, unfortunately sometimes its too late before they realize it.

On that note I gave my dad a Ruger LCP for christmas a few years ago because it was all he could talk about. He was thrilled, to say the least.

  7. Very nice, well made gun. What did you pay, if you don't mind telling!

I don't mind telling. $375. After shopping gunbroker & considering the condition & it having the serialized box & warranty card i didn't mind paying it. Truthfully i would have paid more.

  11. Go buy it as a reward for yourself for being a very good son.Congrats to you and Dad. tom.:wavey:
