Any one have an opinion on the cheapest plinker ammo in 357 sig.

Im getting a G32. Just wanted to see what I can go with to get the cheapest trigger time on it.

I will be carrying a Hornady .357 sig Critical Defence.

I have a G31 and G33. They both eat Georgia Arms ammo nicely. I purchase it by the 1000(canned heat) and it has worked flawlessly. For the good stuff it's been Gold Dots and Underwood.

Sure does....1000 rounds in an ammo box for 300.00. if you have any gunshows in your local area you can save some coin by paying for it on line and then they will give it a free ride to the show. This way there is no taxes or freight.

Canned heat was somewhat inconsistent in accuracy for me. Lawman TMJ can be had for south of 20 a box of 50 online, and is going to be a more consistent performer.

I just ordered 5 boxes of 357 sig fmj from Underwood as well as a box of 357 hollowpoints. Have not shot any of it yet but the range ammo is $17 a box if you are interested.

Underwood is hot! Just ordered five boxes recently myself - already shot 150 rounds. It kicks more than Buffalo Bore. I haven't shot DoubleTap, but they seem to have established a rep. for shooting well below their advertised vel.

    hth!

    Go to this thread:
    http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316941

and scroll about 1/2 down and you will see a post with almost everything made in 357 Sig listed...at the bottom of that post, there are links.
In my testing thus far (for the inexpensive practice ammo - and in addition to the already listed Georgia Arms and Underwood Ammunition) :
Wisconsin Cartridge Corp. = good stuff
Atlanta Arms & Ammo = good stuff
Military Ballistics Industries = good stuff (bought from Lucky Gunner)
But maybe your best bet would be Parabellum Research - their value line 125gr FMJ goes for $29.90 per 100 ( $14.95 per 50)

Their are others like Hunting Shack Ammunition, Good To Go Ammunition, Webb's Brass Assets that I have in the ammo can....but I have not tested them yet!!
