It's time for me to renew my ccw this month and I want to know your thoughts on where it's cheapest to do it. I know shooters world and the other ranges offer these often and was wondering if anyone knows of screaming deal. Around 40 bucks maybe?

Go to Glendale Community College and get it done there. Since it is a college class, it is tax deductible as an education expense. Better instruction too.

Ok I found out that as of Dec 31 2007 the renewal class is no longer required. In order to renew your ccw all you have to do is fill out the renewal application form and send it in to DPS with 43 bucks. That's it no class no fingerprint card. DPS is supposed to send you the form 60-90 days prior to exparation but I've received squat and mine is set to expire on Jan 23. You can download the form right from DPS webste.

You can renew up to 90 days prior to exparation and 60 days after exparation but your not supposed to carry if your parmit is expired.

So this means you can disregard my first post.
