The most difficult (if it was to remain discrete) carry for me was the PPK. James Bond, I am not and a shoulder rig isn't an option.

So how do you folks haul the short slide around? Kydex?...leather?..IWB?

Gaining access via unbuttoning the shirt or unziping the jeans isn't an option either.

So, how do you folks carry the single stack sub-compact?

    Thanks,

    salty

  3. Mine too, when I am carrying it. Most times it's my 21SF.

I carry mine in a Mitch Rosen clipper IWB. Most comfortable holster I've ever owned.

Josh Bulman THR (Leather) & Glock Sport/Combat (Plastic). You can get the S/C for around $15 & use it until you decide on other options. But it is a great, well engineered holster in its own right. Good Luck

cheap simple, hides very well, only compliant would be the belt clip.. make it metal, or something a little more catching...

For the G36 specifically, which exact model number of the Glock S/C holster is needed? None of them list G36.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oh...I currently carry IWB using a Kholster made for the G36 and really, really like it. Very comfortable, hard to beat for $50 shipped.

Either will work, But the 9/40/357 should fit a little better.

IWB seems to work best. Everyone has their favorites for brands. You will just have to try a few and see what ones you like. I have several holsters that I bought, didn't like and never used.

Mine rides in an X-Treme Duty from theholster.com. Similar to the VM2 from Milton Sparks, but it's cheaper and you can get it around 6 months quicker!

    ................................................................................................

I ordered this one from Golckmeister but unfortunately it doesn't have the Glock model number on it. Fits like a glove though.

Does anyone use the Don Hume Yaqui slide OWB? I like this model for the Kahr PM9, and thought of getting one for the G36.

    I wouldn't exactly call the G36 a "short slide"

  17. Here is Glock's website for that holster:
    http://www.glock.com/english/index_acc.htm

It says "compatibility for all pistols."

The G36 is thin, the slide is as thin as the 9mm's, ~1.006".
The Glock Sport/Combat holster will fit just fine. I only see one Sport/Combat holster on the website.

Generally speaking any holster made for the G19, 23 or 32 will fit the 36 just fine.
