Hate to say it, but I think I like the Colt better.
Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
That is a melt job on the SA though, correct?
Guess you could call it that,......no sharp edges but lines are still retained
Why not carry your Ranger II? I have one that is my daily carry in a Minotaur holster and a good belt. Those boys in Round Rock Texas build some nice pistols!
Nothing wrong with adding to your collection, but you have a good carry pistol there already. The only thing I have done to mine is I sent it out for the Hard Hat treatment
at Severns Custom https://severnscustom.com
The grip is too long for me. I do wear a 5.11 Operator and a Mtac. It works but still doesn't conceal as well as I want it to. I usually carry my glocks but just wanted a "better" pistol for the winter time...
Seriously,......the Commander just talks to me.
May have something to do with the previous owner.
He was a friend of Chuck's, Colt was bought in '03. Over the
years he has all the work done, bit by bit, when he could afford
it. He passed away last year. His Widow brought it to Chuck to
sell for her.
Cool story. I can understand that now. Plus, it is a badass mofo. I've a full custom Colt Commander and REALLY like that gun alot too.
I don't have any that your are looking at. the Spartan IV will be the same size as the Ranger II. The STI Guardian will be a CCO size.
here's what replaced my DW Guardian.
Hm real nice.. I wish I could take a look at it at the local LGS's, but no one carries the 2011's...
take a look at the VIP. it has an officer sized grip.
That SA is a Chuck Rogers only gun? I have have looked at this gun over the past couples days and it grabs my eyes everytime. I love it! I love the blacked out look. Who else does that?
Thanks,......it shoots better than it looks.
Both are from Chuck Eogers.
The Springer is a full build, graphite black CeraKote.
I'd suggest Business End Customs
