A couple of months ago someone wanted canvas shot bags for making shooting rest bags. I acquired about 30 of them. If anyone is interested 5 for $5.00. That should cover the envelope and postage.

  2. I'll take 5 of em. How would you like your money, sir?

Canvas bags that shot use to come in for shotgun reloading. Now they come in weaved nylon string type bags. People like to use them for making sand bags for shooting.

If any remain, I'll take 5. PM incomming.

  6. The nylon can melt when a hot barrel rests against it, that's why the canvas is preferred. They're easier to handle then sandbags or coffee bags, but either of those two can be sown into smaller bags easily.

Maybe it is just because I am short but I use the left over pant legs after my wife cuts them off to size my pants for me.

Don't know if they are still sold, but in body work they are called as "Buck Bags".
