Apparently, a City Councilman in Canton, OH believes that the 2nd Amendment is to blame for the recent psychotic behavior of one of their police officers, behavior that was caught on tape and has gone viral.

I won't link to the dashcam video because it contains profanity, and I will get an infraction, but I have redacted the article, and find nothing that could get me in trouble.

Here's a link to the YouTube video if the one on the above page doesn't work (it didn't for me...)

  2. People like this never let the facts get in the way. Everywhere concealed carry has been permitted, the crime rate has been unchanged or fallen. See Gun Facts:

    Fact:
Thirty-nine states comprising the majority of the American population, are
"right-to-carry" states. Statistics show that in these states the crime rate fell (or did not
rise) after the right-to-carry law became active (as of July, 2006). Nine states restrict the

right to carry and two deny it outright.

    Fact:
In Texas, murder rates fell 50% faster than the national average in the year after
their concealed carry law passed. Rape rates fell 93% faster in the first year after
enactment, and 500% faster in the second.
188 Assaults fell 250% faster in the second

    year.

Sent the Councilman a nice e-mail since he hates hearing from us out of towners!:steamed:

  5. Take a little Google Search and you'll find a second incident with this same officer going off on another person just a few days ago.

    Me too.

I'd like to post my e-mail, but I wonder if it's an infraction to quote oneself from a web page that belongs to another business entity?

Nah, I better not. I'll just get in trouble again...somehow.

I don’t believe quoting yourself would warrant an infraction. Since I’m the moderator go for it.
