can't decide which lwrc to go with

    update: well i went a different direction, i really wanted an sbr, but also really wanted a 308 rifle, so some long thinking
    and researching as much as i can, i decided to go with the LWRC REPR 12". I chosen the 12" because I like sbr, yeah the 16,18,20 would be better for 308 but i wasn't planning to do long distance shot. plus i plan on adding a suppressor. will update with new thread in 4-6 months, i guess thats when i actually get the rifle, plus its being built at the factory (can't find any in stock). can't wait


    same as this, but i opted for a UBR stock instead of this stock for extra.

    i can't decide which lwrc i want to go with, this will be my first black rifle.
    either a lwrc psd or a m6a3 10.5 sbr??? there price difference is about $100-200, the psd is cheaper, but i like the a3 cause of the 4 adjustment you can make for the gas system.

    can anyone school me on twist rate: 1/7, 1/9 there differences.

    the difference in twist rate is dependant on what weight of bullet you plan to shoot... if you plan on shoooting 55 grain your whole life go with a 1:9 if you ever wanna shoot higher grain loads i beleave its 72+ youll need the 1:7 to stabalize the round

    55 grain will be the primary round, so will i have any conflict since the lwrc is only in 1/7 twist for 5.56 rounds?

    Hell no. My 1:7 LWRC shoots 55gr. like a champ and I have the option of shooting the heavier stuff if I so choose.

    LWRC was my first personally owned firearm and I enjoy it to this very day. Why a SBR? Well besides the fact that they are so damn sexy. The 12.5 might be a better choice dependant on what your goals are.

    i'm new to sbr, so still doing research on how to obtain.

    not yet, still figuring out which route to go (stamp or trust), probably stamp route if i can get cleo signature.

    also still doing some price search, lowest i found so far for the m6a3 10.5 sbr is $2200 shipped.

    i hearing wait time from my dealer from 4-6 months for atf.

    Yea your 1:7 will be ok ;) ..sometimes its just cheaper for people to buy the 1:9 if there gonna just shoot 55
