I have a Canon AE-1 Program 35mm camera that I purchased in 1984. I have the following lenses, accessories:
    Canon 50mm 1:1.8 lens
    Sakar 80-200mm 1:4.5 lens
    Kiron 28-70mm 1:4 lens
    Sears 28mm 2.8 lens
    Sunpack 433D flash
There is also an assortment of filters and an aluminum case.

Am I fooling myself or this outfit worth anything? I'm fully invested in digital now and would love to sell or trade this on a 38 or 357 revolver. Any advice would be appreciated.

Glancing at eBay, $50-75 is the going rate for comparable items.

I paid $30 for my AE-1 two years ago.

It's an awesome camera. Too bad only students and the rare film geek are into them now

I bought a similar kit in a pawn shop in Achorage in 1984 for $300.

If you can sell it, you'll be lucky to get $100 for all of it.

You could donate it to a community collage. If done correctly you may get full value for a tax write-off.
