Could you be a little more specific? What are you trying to retrieve them with? Email? Outlook? What version, etc?
You're really just telling us "something is wrong - what do I do?". We need some details to hammer down the problem. Have you ever been able to retrieve .jpg's? Did this just start recently?

    Hey Baby;j ;)

I'm still confused on what you want to do. I'm assuming it's either:
    1. Somebody sent you an e-mail with a picture as an attachment, but you can't open it.
    2. Somebody sent you an e-mail with a picture in the body of the e-mail but you can't save it.
      [/list=1]

If it's something else let me know. I'd also be interested to know what you use as an e-mail client and what is your default picture viewer.

In any case, I'd try this. Install IrfanView. During the installation, associate it with all image types (including specifically JPG). If your problem is #1 above, this will probably fix it. If it's number 2, you can right click on the image, Select Copy, open IrfanView, Edit>Paste.

      HTH,

What email program do you use? Outlook? Eudora? Something completely different? AOL?

  7. Then again, Walmart buys the use of the server AOL, I tried to download the program, I have no camera at this time, and it seems that is what it is geared to. Stuck but DEEP. Thanks baby74879

I'm not at all familiar with the Walmart e-mail client, but you should be able to install IrfanView as I mentioned above (this will ensure that an application is associated with the JPG file type), double-click on the icon for the attachment and have it launch in IrfanView.

If that doesn't work, see if you can right-click on the attachment icon and Save File As...

    Good luck.

  10. baby74879---First and foremost, I must say a big Thank You to all you Computer experts, you'all bailed me out. I took the advice and downloaded Adobe Photo, and that did the job. Had it not worked I was on the verge of taking the Glock #23, and the S&W 4506, and doing my own Fix.
    ;b A Rocket Scientist ---Yes,
But, I know beans about this computer--Thanks, All for good Info.
