I know I've seen people paying something like $100 for a frame, and send their old one in for a new one. I also know that I won't get my same SN. I'm fine with both.

I'm probably going to be getting a G32 soon, and I'd like to try some stippling. I just want to ensure that Glock will replace it, despite the fact that I'm the one who "ruined" it (hopefully I won't). I feel like they would, since I AM paying $100, but I just wanted to find out if anyone here has done the same thing.

I can't say one way or the other concerning the stippling, but I can say that I've seen them replace a frame as you described when it was damaged from a KB. A friend of mine was working up a 10mm load and wasn't paying as much attention as he should have been. Barrel and frame were trashed. He contacted Glock and told them what happened. Cost him $100 or so for the frame direct from Glock.

$225 for that, when I could just order from Glock?

    No thanks.

I did not look at their prices and that was also just as a second source in case you can not buy one direct from Glock.

The stripped receivers I saw following your link were 225. He didn't pay that much for his. I don't recall the exact amount, as it was several years ago, but if memory serves correctly it was less than 150.

If I can't buy one direct from Glock, and a new frame would cost me $250 (FFL fee included), I guess it would be a good excuse for another Glock. Hmm...

Absolute easiest way to answer your question...give Glock a call in the morning and ask them.

Here is paperwork I got from glock.

It says a frame "upgrade" whatever that means. You'll have to check with them as far as if you can upgrade a frame you ruined by stippling or if you have to flat out purchase a frame.

I stippled my OD G23 Gen 3 a couple of years ago (along with some other "mod's"). I decided that I did not like the work that I did. I called Glock. They had little interest in why I wanted to "exchange" the lower, just that it would cost me $100, which included return shipping. Aside from the FFL/DOJ cost, I am very happy that I did this. They replaced all the parts on my upper as well, free of charge. Yes, I know, I ruined a perfectly good OD. I am sorry that I did that. Glock, however, made me feel MUCH better about my "boo boo" by offering a replacement for $100, which is down from the $150 just a year or so ago.
Beware.. if you have any aftermarket parts that you want to KEEP, remove them and install the OEM parts before sending in, THEY WILL REPLACE THEM.
Glock customer service in my experience? A+

Good to know! Did you have to send the whole gun in, or could you've just sent the lower?

Yep... I'd love to find an OD frame for my 3rd gen G26 or an a 3rd gen OD frame for my 2nd gen G22. I believe the 2nd gen G22 slide will fit on a 3rd gen frame. Someone feel free correct me if I'm wrong.
