Can anyone recommend a solar charger for iPad that won't brake the bank?

    Hey everyone

I could really use a portable solar charger that is capable of charging an iPad 3 and a droid phone. Looking online prices go from $20-300. I do a lot of motorcycle and camping trips and I would find one useful. Just curious if anyone had any first hand experience with them? Thanks

Be a lot cheaper to simply charge it from the vehicle's battery. Solar is either cheap and doesn't last long or expensive and may not last much longer.

    Yah, I'm cynical.

Goal Zero. About $70 at Costco.

Search for rviews on the S&P forum.

If you need to charge it on the motorcycle, use the battery. If you're camping, what do you need an iPad for?

A 12V DC to USB adapter is cheap, but will take a long time to charge your ipad. The ipad wall wart pulls 10W, so you can get an inverter that will run it without a problem.

You probably already know this, but careful with your bike's power. Some barely make enough juice for the bike, much less the farkles.
