Al'right everyone, I'm new to the forum and a proud owner of a Glock 29sf. I have finally convinced my wife to get a pistol but she has chosen a XDM 45 3.8". She loves the size of my 29 but likes the look of the XDM. I'm ok with it as long as she is armed when I'm away and now we won't have to share or rent a gun for her to shoot when we go to the range. My question though is if I can switch out the barrels of my 29 with the 30's 45? Don't get me wrong I LOVE 10MM and will keep it as my carry but it would be nice to be able to share ammo if needed. What all would i need to ****ch to make it work? One of my favorite things about my glock is how easy it is to take apart and put back together so if it requires changing out extractor. Anyone try?
