Animal Liberation Philosophy and Policy Conference is an international interdisciplinary conference inviting activists and academics to discuss philosophies and multiple amount of policies effecting animal liberation. This Conference complements the efforts of the Animal Liberation Philosophy and Policy Journal, which is offering to publish papers presented. This Conference much like the journal was designed to build up the common activist's knowledge of animal liberation while at the same time appealing to academic specialists to address the important topic of animal liberation.

We believe that activists and academics can learn from each other and assist in the common goal of animal liberation. Please join us to discuss an array of topics centered on animal liberation including, but not limited to – deep ecology, feminism, social justice, classism, PATRIOT Act, environmental ethics, Eco-Terrorism laws, rights vs. liberation, humane education, post-modernism, utilitarianism, religion, indigenous rights, and racism.

  2. That's quite a list they have there. I especially like the post-modernism. I'll have to brush up on what Foucault said about hunting. ;a

Next thing these morons are going to be arguing in front of the Supreme Court that their Cockatoos, Guinea Pigs, and Terriers should get to vote. Who knows, maybe that way they can get Hillary elected.

And one more thing... just how long will it take "deep ecology" to morph into "deep, throbbing, ecology"?;f
