I've spent several hours surfing the net and there is only one thread on GT regarding FFL Curio & Relic information.

I've been trying to buy a Glock 17L and Glock 24 in Calif for a long time.
The only way it seemed I was going to be able to get my hands on one was if a used one showed up in a gun shop. Then I came across a FFL holder that will allow me to purchase both a 17L and a 24. He uses the C&R way of registering these guns but I don't understand how he can do this???

    Anyone understand this?

Due to the CA "approved list", only way you will be able to buy a Glock Model 17L or Model 24 in CA, is via PPT (Private Party Transfer).

    1. Locate one already in CA and buy it via PPT.
    2. New CA resident brings one into CA and you buy it from them via PPT.
    3. CA LEO buys one and you buy it off them via PPT.

The Glock Model 17L and Model 24 are not C&R eligible.

Also, in CA, you will need a C&R FFL and a COE, in order to "cash & carry" C&R eligible handguns.
