Is anyone else getting burrs on the head of their brass after firing? I don't know if it's my extractor doing it but I'm suspicious of it. It's just about every case.

    Thanks, Gary

Not just you. I get them too, I believe it is the extractor. I find the burrs get deeper or more prominent the hotter the loads get.

Do you think it unwise to try and smooth out the extractor?

I can only shoot my starline brass 4 or 5 times before the burrs make it impossible to slide the shells into my shell holders(for the priming tool). I load medium strength.
