BURN: One Year On The Front Lines Of The Battle To Save Detroit

Discussion in 'The Okie Corral' started by Restless28, May 10, 2013.

  1. This looks like a good film that details the fight to save Detroit from burning down. Los Angeles has 4 million people and averages 11 structure fires a day. Detroit has 700,000 residents but averages 30 fires daily.

Arson is an epidemic in Detroit.

Fire is a good way of Detroit ridding itself of unwanted houses. The land then can become fallow, as it was before industrialization.

Then again, I guess my dilemma when I hear about Detroit burning down is "Marshmallows or hot dogs?"

    Why is that raciiiiissst?

I'll bet that LA has more blacks than Detroit.

Why would anybody want to save such a place??

  16. Did you even watch the clip?

It's because dedicated men and women feel responsible for their city.

I can't believe it took 17 posts for someone to throw out the evil union line. I was banking on 6-8.

It will eventually become a predominantly Islamic city. In 20 years it won't even be recognizable as an American city. But wait, that might be the case with most of the large cities.

    Nail on the head.

The dilemma is: Will there be enough working people to support them? and for how long??
