Bullets are Tools! (aka in Bullet Buttons)

    Now that Colt is making a comeback to the civilian market, it is great to see them make California complaint AR-15's

    I spent the last day reading about the Bullet Buttons. Some in California claim they are not complaint as a bullet isn't a tool.

    Do you trust the U.S. military?

    On page 3-21 of Army publication TM9-1005-249-10, it shows how to properly disassemble a bolt assembly.

    "10 Use round (5) to remove extractor pin (8)."

    Illustration (5) is clearly a picture of a live 5.56 round being used as a tool.

    There is no "loop-hole" as State Senator Yee claims.

    5.56 ammo can be used as a tool by the authority of the U.S. Army.
