    I have a 2-part question.

    1. I carry Buffalo Bore's standard pressure 158gr LSWCHP in my K-frames. I like the round as it's controllable, accurate, and produces no muzzle flash, even from a 2" barrel. I also like the soft lead used in its construction. Are you aware of any shootings involving this round, and what the results were?

    2. If there is no actual-shooting data available, would you consider this an acceptable round for self-defense as it's construction and ballistics are similar to FBI loads produced by other manufacturers that do have a proven track record?

Sleuth, I spoke yesterday with Tim Sundles, head of Buffalo Bore. He tells me there have been some shootings with this load and his impression is that it has worked well, but he does not have reports or details.

Based on the ballistics, I don't see any reason it SHOULDN'T get the job done, and Buffalo Bore has earned a reputation for excellent quality control.

I was confident in my choice, but I'm even more confident now.

    Thanks, Mas.
