    Read my post I put down on that thread. The reason we dont ever see that in the field is because we extract the needle while the cath is still in....when giving blood, they keep the needle in. I got the exact same bruising a few years ago, it is cause by the stupind Korean Tech (sorry, was that my outside voice) tearing the vein when she withdrew the needle. Didnt hurt at all, but it looked really cool for a couple of weeks. Remeber, chicks dig scars!
