I was born with wide hands and short fingers. I have a new Buck Mark, and I would like to install an extended magazine latch so I can reach it without having to move my hand too much. I've searched this forum and others on the Interwebz and it appears that no one makes a drop in part. But I infer that an extended mag release for a 1911 fits, although no one states that explicitly. People refer to using a Wilson #31B release, for instance.

    My questions:

Am I missing something, or is there a drop in part?

Do 1911 extended mag releases work, or just some of them?

Can anyone link me to instructions on changing them out, like a Youtube video or website?
