What do you recommend for breaking in a semiautomatic pistol before you conceal carry it?
Do you recommend cleaning and lube before shooting?
How many rounds of FMJ before you try hollow points?
How much do you shoot it before you carry it?

Rick, I want at least 200 of the duty load through it with zero malfunctions before I carry it regularly. If a 200 round break-in is necessary to seat the parts, as Kahr (for example) recommends, less expensive practice hardball or handloads should do fine, but you still want those couple hundred carry loads through the piece before you really trust it.

    Best,
