I wonder if this will have any bearing on his decision? Doubtful, but I do wonder.

I am not from CO, so what CO does with their gun laws does not concern me as I have no say in it. It's for their residents to worry about. I'm also not from NY and have no say in NY politics. No, the sky is not falling.

That's the wrong attitude. If you don't agree, you should still voice your opinion. Tell the Colorado Governor how you feel.

    Legally, he can't.

That's why I said, LEGALLY. I have no doubt he might try.

I'm not sure the law has anything to do with it.

Yes. And it did so well before I got here, probably well before I was even born. And since I am not a NYS resident, I have no say in their politics. And even if I did, I would be in the minority, at least as far as NYC is concerned.

    I know what you meant.

I was just taking a shot at the corruption level of this administration.

I certainly would let the CO governor know how I feel, but since I am not a constituent of his, I doubt it would do anything.

As a Californian, my focus has been on what is happening here in my State. The Feds are much less of a concern to me.

The sponsor of the measure, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., revealed that Reid told her the proposed ban would not be in the initial package. Feinstein said she's "disappointed" with the decision, and is expected to nevertheless offer it as an amendment.

The key is here. Sure, it isn't in our initial package, but we will continue to try.

This signals lack of support...it'll never pass federally.
