Braided lines..

Discussion in 'Moto Club' started by MStarmer, Oct 8, 2005.

  1. Looking to get a full set of braided brake/clutch lines for my ZRX. Probably Spiegler, Galfer or something along those lines. Anyone have good vendor or experience with any?

I run galfer lines and hh pads up front with Motul 5.1. Much less fade than stock and two finger braking all day. I got mine from Cal-Sportbike as a package deal.

I've used Galfer in the past. Good quality.

Just make sure you put the correct brake fluid in meaning the correct DOT fluid. Silicone based can adversely affect your brakes.

I would not recommend kevlar. Seen it crack by the banjo bolts....

  4. Got a full set of Galfer lines coming from Cyclebrakes.com ;f , also have a set of Ferodo XR pads to put up front. Can't wait to feel the difference in stopping. Now if I could just get some sunshine here I'd be good. :(

I have been putting off getting braided lines for my ZX-11. Just out of curiosity why a braided line for the clutch?
