Well its back. Looks good. Shoots great. Thing hits almost dead nuts out of the box. All I sent was the slide. Nothing more. So not sure how that worked out.

Shooting is a no brainer. Put the dot on it and bam. U hit it. I shot a 285 yard target and hit it first shot. I love it. Worth every penny. Bowie did put bus sights on it , I did not order them as I have some here, but decided to pay and keep them anyways.

I can say this. Having the bus in front of the rmr is the way to go. Complete clear window. The dot can not hide. I shot about 50 rounds. All great.

I got the rmr 06 model with the 3.5moa dot. Works fine. I kinda wish they made a smaller one. As that it's beyond easy to see.

If anyone is thinking about it. Do it. And have bowie do it. He machines the bosses in unlike most all other shops.

Crap. I forgot. Posting pics is almost impossible for me from my phone. Let me see if I can figure something out.

Have to agree. After 200-300 rnds of initial testing my LWD longslide was out of spec and went back. sent Bowie tactical the stock slide and he milled it for the Deltapoint.

I agree that the forward BUIS are superior (having used both) for me and that the deltapoint has an easier and larger optic and is still pretty tough. Not RMR retarded tough but certainly "combat" tough.

I originally had issues. I gave up on lone wolf and fixed it my self. It's 100% and shoots super tight groups. I can free hand a soda can at 30 yards all day long. On a rest I shot a 3in group at 50 yards. Love my long slide.

Well. Let's see. I got some great deals.on a few things but grand total not including the glock 20 sf I had it totaled 1250. That was longside, rmr, and milling for.rmr and the dovetail for the bus. So not bad at all. Would be hard to beat that price. That also included all shipping charges.

That was all internals also. So i can swap slides from stock to this without having to change anything over.

Shot another 200 rounds off yesterday. I love the rmr. Also the bus are right on. Love it. Did a few penetration tests with cast and xtps. I am really torn on what bullet to use for my black bear. In testing the xtp made poor entry holes but will make great exit holes but only if it passes through. The cast I tested was just my 175 lee tc that drop a lil over 180 for me. They cut a perfect entry hole and exit hole.
Kinda thinking the cast is the better choice. I tried 2 different lead mixes. One just ww. The other was a mix of ww and some pure. That one did flatten out in the tip a lil. Seemed to make better exit holes. Thinking I will mold some up with even higher pure % and see how those do.

I really wish the group buy mold was done. That boolit would be perfect.

That is what I am thinking. I think I could get the 180 cast easily over 1400. Maybe even close to 1500. With a little softer mix it should flatten and expand some. Should work really well. Something to play with this week.

barrel headspace appeared to be bad as the bolt face had some cracking or something. it was also rubbing on the ejector and the firing pin hole was off. I actually broke a firing pin.

I actually documented in in a thread last fall about the longslide.
