Wasn't aware some cities were taking such a stand on knife sales and possession till I noticed the www.akti.org site on a SOG knife box.

"Currently the Boston City Council is considering a proposal that will require retail outlets to be registered with the Police Department in order to sell knives within city limits. The proponents of this measure believe that this misguided proposal will improve public safety for the citizens of Boston. AKTI is aggressively fighting this proposal but needs the people that work with on the ground to contact their City Councilperson (see information below) and the Mayor’s Office (see information below) and voice their concerns. This is just our first step to defeat this anti knife and anti business proposal."

    "New Yorkers and travelers beware:"

"If you have a knife with a clip showing New York City considers that an illegal open carry."
