I know PSA had one last year and is planning on having one this year, but what other companies have had/are planning a Black Friday sale?

I'm trying to gauge how much my credit card balance will suffer after black friday

Doesn't matter what happens on nov 6 as far as a black friday sale. Neither will be able to pass legislation in time to affect firearms sales for awhile

Election results will dictate what the general public does. This, in turn,
will dictate how much the scumbag companies jack their prices
overnight. Kinda like Spikes Tactical did four years ago!

So yes,.......what happens Nov 6th WILL effect Black Friday sales,
just like it did four years ago!

Ah, I hadnt thought of that. I thought he was referring to a ban of some sort that would ruin a sale, not price gauging

No not a ban on Nov 6. I just remember that CTD was charging $50.00 for one Pmag and $1000.00 for a case of green tip ammo the very next day.

Spikes Tactical was not on my ***** list, just CTD.

I watched as CTD started hiking prices the night of the election. One refresh of a web page was all it took to see prices spike to insane levels. I don't remember the $50 PMAGs, but I do remember cases of green tip somewhere north of $800.

I will never do business with CTD again because of that.

Yep. Much of the initial price jump after Obama's election was outright gouging. It stayed high for quite a while due to panic buying, and problems with supplies of primers. Many of the manufacturing companies were unwilling to add new production lines for what they saw as a temporary spike in buying, so the ceiling on supply kept the prices high until people calmed down. The election this year is stirring all of that up again. If Obama wins reelection, expect it to get much worse. If Romney wins, though, don't be surprised to start seeing prices drop again.

Yeah. There is a guy on another forum that was bragging about how he can't wait to to take advantage of the price hike so he can loose a few pistols. He currently has a two tone Colt Rail gun with a couple of W.C. Bulletproof parts for $2200. What a deal. His add is hilarious.

Ah, people are such tool bags. I'm always down for making a little profit, but I'd never try and take advantage of someone like that, especially since the person I'm ripping off now has a gun
