As the title says, I'm looking for the best local (Phoenix) store to buy revolvers. I have my eye on a Taurus Protector 651 or CIA 650 in .357.

Scottsdale guncenter has really good prices and a pretty good selection. Lone Wolf in Glendale is usually a little bit more but has a good selection too. Any of the Sportsmans Warehouses' will probably have those models but they have been raising their prices lately. My brother bought a 6 inch Taurus stainless 44mag from them a couple of years ago for $408, now the same gun is probably $450.

  5. I went by the Scottsdale gun center
last week and they are closed and
looked to be cleaned out. There was
a lien posted on the door for
    failure to pay rent.

I believe you are getting the Phoenix Gun Center mixed up with the Scottsdale Gun Center
