Best place for paracord

    Seem like good sites. Looks like they are the MIL-C-5040H not the commercial stuff...well at least I think they are. It's hard to tell from the write up on the paracord.com site if it is or just a description of the different types.

    Try parachute-cord.com. Just google new bulk 550 cord. So much cheaper than buying hanks of cord. Also, the conception of "safety" as surplus cord is just that. And, yes, when you buy in 1000 foot spools, you dream up a number of uses.

    Is the 7 strand 3 ply paracord worth double the price than the 2 ply for most uses? I plan on getting a few hundred feet of the better stuff, but am not sure it's worth the extra money for 1000 feet of it.
