I have decided to put this issue to rest. The best caliber is........the one you have ammo for! If you own a Glock in each caliber you multiply your chances of having ammo to feed it! My excuse to buy more Glocks. Please don't burst my bubble!

So, given how abundant 380 ammo is around here, have fun finding one :-D

Around here 40 and 45 ammo is on the shelves. My sons (still living at home, 20 and 21) and I have 4 45 cal Glocks between us. Easier buying for one cal.

I prefer the 9mm glocks, by far, but the glock 23 I own is beginning to grow on me.

I own five 9mm hand guns, and only one .40. No other calibers either.

I'm still deciding between a glock 17 and 22 :/ It is a really stressful decision.

You can get a 9mm barrel for the G22, you can't get a .40 barrel for the 17.

The 17 gen 3 RTF is the finest Glock ever produced. Just my opinion of coarse.

9mm. This is what the original glock was designed around. The chamber support is much better than the other calibers and while they work fine, the 9mm is a touch better.

Not arguing caliber effectiveness, just saying that glock was designed for the 9mm.

Missed one. 10mm Auto. :whistling: I have at least one Glock
in 9mm, 40, 45, and of course 10mm. I have no ammo issues,
other than storage space...I hand load.

I prefer 9mm, I think the 19 is the best fighting pistol in the world. I have 2 G22 projects going right now so I will see how I like the .40 S&W but I don't think it can overtake the 9x19.

Nah it won't over take the 9mm, but I like having a .40 around. You can still get .40 ammo...which keeps me from depleting my 9mm stash.
