Best East Coast Shooting Ranges

Discussion in 'Florida Glockers Club' started by Mortgage Helper, Mar 23, 2009.

  1. Where can someone go to shoot on the east coast of Florida? I'm sure this thread has been around before so forgive me for the re-post.

I shoot at Gator Guns and Palm Beach Shooting Center

Gator Guns is the now infamous range where the guy w/the G18 shot himself.

Gator is alittle more $$ but closer for us since its on Okeechoobee Blvd

You can also join the Martin County Sportsman Society for $225 and use their outdoor range west of Stuart.

  3. I've been to Gator a few times. When did the guy off himself?

  4. Went to Sebastian on Thursday. Great place to go, after having to purchase ammo from places like "Self Defense" in Port Saint Lucie and "Gator" in WPB it was refreshing going to a place that didnt charge 50 - 100% more than the actual cost of the ammo. Seemed like cool people i think they charge 8.00 but i bought some targets cuz i was out and they sell cardboard for posting targets. A lot of fun!

  5. If u r in the "middle" of Florida on the east coast, Sebastion houses the indian river gun range, and it is the best bang for your buck. No "buy house ammo" B.S. they have 15&25yd. pistol range, 100&200 yd. rifle range, 5-stand clays, all outdoors. This place rocks, here is the link: indian river gun range!!!!!
Rock on if you can get there.

  6. Made it out there on again on Sunday. Cool place.:wavey:
