    Beretta model 70
    picked up a lnib beretta model 70 in .22
    This is a great pistol,
    No one doea sexy like the italians.

    They're great pistols. I have a 70 with a steel frame (pictured) and a 73 Jaguar with a longer barrel and aluminum frame.

    Did you change the left grip to get rid of the thumb rest or did the adjustable sight and "target" (serrated) trigger get enough import points that a thumb rest was not needed to get it in?

    I can't decide if I'd rather have one like yours with lever safety and adjustable sight or an earlier one with crossbolt safety and fixed sight.

  19. I keep telling myself that I'm not in the market for more firearms...but every now and then I come across something that I 'really need'. Most recently, it was an unfired, 30 year old Ruger Super Blackhawk 7.5". This thread has made me realize that I 'really need' a Beretta model 70.
