    Just acquired this from a fellow GTer. I traded one of my coveted ARs for a this and five P.B. marked magazines. This one is marked Licensed by P. Beretta Gardone, Italy Santa Fe M59 CAL 7.62MM NATO Golden State Arms Corp Pasadena, Calif. The back of the receiver is marked S/N 1529XXX.

    Here it is next to its American cousin, a correct 1943 Springfield Armory M1 Garand..

    Took it out this afternoon. Once I got it zeroed, it shot well. Not as much recoil as I expected. Smooth shooter.
