I've watched a few episodes lately namely the one in the rainforest & the canyons of mexico and bear is using what looks to be about a 5" blade survival knife and was wondering if anyone knew what brand this may be.

I saw the same shows and wondered the same thing. The bee sting was funny but stupid, if those were Africanized bees he would be dead. The bamboo hammock was cool though..... Anyone for a game of bat tennis?

While on the subject of Grylls edged blade. I saw an episode a while back. One of his very early episodes and he was in a jungle somewhere probably Amazon. He was using a kukri knife looked like stainless with about an 8" blade. Not sure what make or model I did a search back then but came up with nothing. So I was wonderin if anybody seen the episodeand might know.

  7. how did you do that, sooo awesome!!

Simple: www.lmgtfy.com (Short for Let Me Google That For You.)

Just type in your search phrase and it'll give you the link for it.

I'd call such a little knife priced more than a Glock quite a hu-freaking-mongous mark-up.

It looks like a SOG Seal Pup would be an easier to find and cheaper substitute.

When you imped a link using the EMBED LINK button, the link is listed twice. When you click IMBED, it highlights the SECOND listing. Type whatever you want.
