    I came across a Lone Wolf barrel at a pawn shop. It is new and unfired as best as I can tell. It drops in to my G32 perfectly and locks up as it should. It hand cycles smoothly as well. However, it does stick out from the end of the slide over a half an inch.

    So, what is it and what's it for?

    That's what I originally thought. However, my G22 won't cycle with it.

    Should have put a question mark on my comment since I didn't actually try it. So the question remains.

    I'm guessing here;
    But It looks like an extended G23 40-9mm conversion barrel.
    If so, It will work in a G23/G32.
    But not full size guns, as the locking block, or whatever you call it, is different.

    A normal lenght G23 barrel will work in a G27/G33 too.
    But the extended lenght may not fit in those as well?
    If it fits in the slide and just sticks out? Then it will work.

    Although there is some debate on the subject.
    A G23 40-9mm conversion barrel and 9mm mags will allow a G23/G33
    to shoot 9mm ammo.

    The picture shows a G21 and G30 barrel, but the difference would be the same for all calibers between the full size barrels and compact/sub-compact barrels. On full size barrels the lugs are spaced further apart with the forward lug being further forward toward the muzzle.

    Compare the lugs on that barrel with your factory G32 barrel, and with your factory G22 barrel. If the lug spacing and size looks identical to your G32 barrel, then the LWD barrel is an extended length 40-9 conversion barrel for use in the G23/27/32/33. As barth said the barrel may be too long to fit into a 27/33 slide though.

    Ok, I think it is the LWD-239L extended 40-9 for a G23/32. I saw one at a shop today and it is the same. Thanks.
