Barnes Bullets

Discussion in 'Caliber Corner' started by Trigger Finger, Aug 23, 2012.

  1. I found these clips about Barnes Bullets. They are very interesting but makes me wonder what the penetration would be on larger animals. I am sure they are not new and many of you probably have seen them before!

    WARNING!! these videos are graphic.

It's entirely worthwhile to watch these two videos, both are 47sec long. At the very least, you'll want to see the exploding prairie dog in video 1...and I mean it EXPLODES! There's a nifty hit on a wolf in video 2.

  2. The varmint grenades will not penetrate very deep, that is why they have varmint in their name.

Barnes makes hunting bullets that penetrate about perfect like their tripple shock. And they make a solid all copper bullet that penetrates extremely deep.

    Something for everyone.

I believe your "wolf" is actually a coyote.

They are extremely explosive bullets which makes them good for varmints and not much else.

    That's a 'yote BTW.
