Bagworm control..

    Any advice for the killing of bagworms...I tried some Diazanon, not sure if it has been effective...Just noticed the little buggers today..:crying:

    I have just taken to shooting the bag with hornet/wasp spray which wipes out the next. also, look at the trunk and lower branches early in the morning to see if you have any stragglers.

    Ah for the day's when Cholordane was sold accross the counter...:whistling:

    No, sir. You should be able to purchase it at an Ag fertilizer store. My local BWI and Helena chemical both carry it. You may be able to order it online as well. It is labeled for indoor pests as well. Excellent product.

    Best solution I found was wrapping a chain around the infested evergreeen, wrapping the other end of the chain around the receiver hitch on the truck and giving a tug. Take away the target and you take away the bug...

    I guess the traditional method is not practical during a record breaking drought.
