My new grips and bushings/screws showed up today! Got them installed and so far I really like the slim profile grips, have to see how it feels shooting this weekend.

(Also anyone have any tips on what flush mags to pick up? I want one or two for carry... all I have are the ones with extended base pads that stick out)

Check Mate, or KimPro Tac Mags run great in my pistols.

Actually I am going to black the entire thing out. I need to get a flat trigger and fit it to try first. Also I was thinking of adding a SA Magwell but I may just skip that.

I am thinking either Hard Hat or Ionbond.. I will have to send off the trigger to someone for Cerakote or the like. Not sure what else can not be refinished in them at this point.

The refinish part may have to wait a bit but we will see.

Combining all I liked about the Valor, with the Baer. Creating my own Super Baer for not too much money and no 6 month wait.

    Nice.

The original grips are nice as well.
I actually prefer wood to anything else.

I'm not sure who can do it, but there used to be a product called Insta-Black.
It's a product that will put a black oxide finish on stainless.

There is always IonBond as well.

Yeah if I go with Hard Hat I have to do some small parts in Cerakote or the like then send it in.

Looks sweet. Slim Alumagrips are excellent. You know what they say...once you go black...

You get really annoyed with scratches?

What finish is on your KC?

Could care less about scratches. It's carried every day, not a safe queen.

    Stainless with Brown's Gen3.

As long as it's honest wear and not from abuse,......it's ALL good!
