    Psssst Hokie.... that article was written 7-8 years ago. Baer didn't make railed models until recently and yes he gets the frames from Caspian.

    Just about all the original railed 1911s used a Caspian cast frame. Some companies have switched to a forged part but I doubt Baer sells enough railed models to justify it.
