Ok, my cousin was quoted extensively in a daily mail article last night too. My brain hurts from trying to digest seeing REAL stuff mixed in with my tabloid trash!!

    Thanks, RedTop.

Everyone might enjoy following the link at the bottom of the DailyMail article that says in red "Lucinda Marker." That is a link to an article that Lucinda wrote for salon.com that was published yesterday.

Holy mouse droppings. Was that you?

Oh, yeah, I remember reading that when it first happened. It caught my attention because of the Bubonic-plague-in-NYC angle.

Glad you not only survived physically, but also mentally and emotionally.

Next time, before visiting NYC again, please get a health certificate! If they can't put up with supersized sodas, imagine how'd they appreciate another round of bubonic plague. :whistling:

Sorry that was the way to get in the papers, but a good article. Though they did seem to have trouble with your name a couple of time, calling you Mr Toll and Mr Marker. I think they must have found your wife more interesting.

Believe me when I say there are days when I am feeling kinda crappy and not wanting to get up and deal with life, then I think of what you guys and a couple of other people on here have gone through and it makes my issues seem a little silly. Thanks for sharing your story.

If you are not familiar with Mr. Tull's story, I believe you owe it to yourself to read it. Amazing, courageous, and humbling all immediately spring to mind.
