The 92f is very easy to shoot and very accurate. The GLOCK 21 would be perfect a 13 shot .45 auto. Are they looking ? I hear the SCAR will replace the
M16/M4. Anyone hear anything like that also? What about the Beretta 92f two in a .45acp?

No, the Army isn't looking for a new handgun anymore. I tell everyone the same thing that the Beretta M9 will be around for at least another 10 years.

The SCAR will not replace the M16/M4. SOCOM has determined that there is little to gain going from M-4 to SCAR-L to justify the expenditure.

War is winding down and Military budgets are being slashed.

During times of "fiscal responsibility" the Defense Department budget
    is always the primary target.

No way will money be spent for a new handgun when we already have
    a perfectly good handgun already.
