Thank god they ditched that stupid rover motor (just like Lotus and the new Elise) that used to power it and got something worth while to power it, a Honda. (Elise got a Toyota powerplant).

    Also here's another cool one,

    http://www.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/

The have botha caterham chasis and a mid engine open cockpit chasis (looks like a mini LMP car), both are powered by Hayabusa bike motors. They had a Caterham one with a Turbocharged Busa motor and set a record on the Nurbergring.

If you can find it (it used ot be on the site, but I guess not any more) they have a video floating around of the XTR (the mini LMP one) out lapping a Pagani Zonda around a track.

    Sweet.

My friend found out this guy he used to work with and still talks to, bought a Caterham. He forgets what actual brand it is, he looked at Superformance, but the one he got (supposedly made in South Africa) he said was cheaper and had better build quality than them. Anyhow, my friend is suppoed to get a ride in it some time soon. The guy said it is the fastest car he has ever driven and that you get some funny looks driving it down the street.
