hello, i live in Norhtern NJ and am looking to take a 3-5 day defensive/ccw pistol course. I am looking in PA, OH, DE, etc... pretty much any place that accepts my FL conceal carry permit. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Not sure if CT honors the FLA non-res, but they're in your area:

PA and DE definitely honor FLA non-res. Here are regular classes near the Eastern end of PA:

Other trainers who make it to the PA/DE area reasonably often:

ETA: btw, NH honors your FLA permit and they are about 5 hrs away...there's another entire raft of training up there. Let me know if you want NH links too.

Maybe NH will give you a non-res NH permit directly?

It's worth a check. There's not only Sigarms, but also Ayoob's LFI, plus a group -- http://www.neshooters.com/ -- that that seems to get topshelf guys (Jeff Gonzales, Tom Givens, Louis Awerbuck, "Southnarc," Randy Cain) to local NH ranges.

ETA: since (most likely) you can't carry anyway in NJ, I would say getting the best training wherever it is is more important than getting training at a state you can CCW in, as a matter of priorities. Why limit yourself?
