Are the M&P semi-autos comfortable to shoot, or what???

I am not a very well versed in handguns overall, but when I decided to get a durable, versatile, comfortable, accurate, non hand-punishing, reasonably priced .45 ACP, I went with a full size M&P.

How could one not??? I know this is Glock Land here, but they offer no equal, unless your mitts are the size of a gorilla's. So many times here I see posts from new handgun buyers whom in their list of choices don't include the M&P, and are debating which Glock to buy. I want to chime in, but I steady myself and succumb to the fact it ultimately is a Glock site.

Anyway... by no stretch am I bashing Glock, because they are obviously proven. If the glove fits, wear it. I wanted to like Glock in my trials and fitting before purchase, but it didn't, and I wasn't going to force it. I just hope new shooters are doing their research and not getting swept up in hype, but looking at form, function, ergos, safety and practicality as a whole, and what works best for their needs, too.

That's why there are different brands/models, no one size fits all.
Hope you have good a time with your M&P.

I tried Glocks and just couldn't get used to the grip. M&Ps are a near perfect fit and they are even better with the Apex sear and striker block.

450 rounds and counting. Not 1 problem with the 230 grain JHP's I'm feeding it. I swear the gun is getting easier to shoot too.

    LoVe IT!
