Are New England & Remington 870 stocks and forends interchangable...?

    They certainly look the same, so I thought I'd ask.

    I think the only thing that isn't, is the barrel and I don’t remember why, but do a search here for I know it has been discussed.

    Ok, thanks guys. Glad to hear that they are. I like NEF shotguns and rifles, as well as Remington. But NEF has very slim pickings as far as accessories go. So I can shop Remington accessories, minus the barrell, and be ok? :patriot:
