Given the choice, I'll pay the extra & drive the E Class.

Über-accurate when compared to a Glock, & no BTF! :whistling:

The HK is a little heavier and has a shorter barrel.
Physically they are about as close as you're going to get to a perfect match.
I own and have shot thousands of rounds from both.
It's a fair comparison to me.

    I was,......compare specs of the P30 with a G19.
I do believe they are very close.
Have fun with the endless debate.

    LOL - No Problemo.
V2 converted to V1 Light LEM.
    4.5 lbs DAO trigger.

    And don't get me wrong.
I love my tricked out Glock G27.
    It's not going anywhere.
And for the money - I too believe it's hard to beat a Glock.
They are fine weapons for sure.
    I'd be happy carrying one.

I'm lucky enough to have a selection of excellent handguns to choose from.

  7. i agree.

just because my glocks have been just as reliable as my HKs, doesnt mean yours are. as with most mass produced products, YMMV. im far from a bullseye shooter, but my groups are really no tighter with my USPs than with my glocks. i personally feel that my HK triggers suck. pure opinion. they are cool pistols, but i just dont feel their performance is worth twice as much as what i get from my glocks. thats all just my personal opinion. Id trade my USP .40 for a gen 4 g23 right this second. dead serious. pm me if you have one and really feel that they are inferior to HK USPs...:wavey:

I have found the opposite to be true. On a Ransom rest my G19 was more accurate every time by a small margin than my USP 9 was. The HK is definitely nicer looking, and has better fit and finish. Early on the HK had 2 FTEs while my Glock has had none. While I do like the HK pistols quite a bit, there really is no justification of their higher price when looking solely at performance. If you prefer to pay nearly double the price for aesthetics or how the grip fits you, then it's a different story. I love both Glock and HK, but comparing either to a BMW/Merc/Audi is laughable. That role should be left to the nicer Smith revolvers, 1911s, Hi-powers, and other guns with nice bluing and wood.

    HK=Best polymer handgun period

Coming in second place is Glock.

Opinions, opinions.... Mine goes like this. Polymers
    1- walther
    2- glock
    3- Springfield xd
    4- H&K

Yes I own all of them. Reason is I think striker fired pistols are far superior to hammer fired ones. Not to mention initial cost, it's hard to justify 1k on a pistol that doesn't beat a 500$ one in any category except for "cool factor".

I found a HK USP 40, used 540.00. I can deal with the cool factor.

Bought two NIB P2000 357 Sig LEM guns for $649 each.
I'll put them up against any gun at any price.
They are way more than cool on every level.

    Seriously!
No idea why some of you guys feel compelled to pic an argument
and post smart azz remarks. State your opinion and move on.

I am not you, my opinions and experiences WILL differ!

    I shoot a P30 a lot more accurately than a Glock.
I shoot a 1911 a lot more accurately than an HK.

Looks like you prefer a Corvette?
Why drive that when a Vega will get you to the same darn place? :dunno:

Not to me they're not. I bought a USP Combat Competition last year, but only because I got a very good price on it. It was an alright gun, but nothing special. I bought a G26 about the same time that has a much better trigger, in my opinion. Differences in fit and finish? Six of one, half dozen of the other. I didn't see where the HK was worth twice what a GLOCK goes for. The only thing I really liked about the USP was the mag release; all pistols should use that design. I sold it a couple months ago, made a few hundred bucks, and don't miss it at all.

A "lot more accurately"? And then "a lot more accurately" on top of that?

You have to start off pretty low to improve that much. Lol.
