Your link to the red dot goes to a dealer login prompt.

From what I can see on their website, almost all of their red dot sights will require either a riser, or a different mount of some kind to bring them in line with the irons.

Link shows no optic. Putting that part number into search on their website does the same.

Google brings up the same PN on Cheaper than dirt. Hard to tell from the photos, but it MIGHT be tall enough to co-witness without the need for a riser. I'm sure a replacement, higher mount is out of the question.

You will not need a riser for this one. I have the exact same optic until I get my Aimpoint. It co-witnesses irons perfectly......
Pics should help. ETA: I'm not sure why a second dot on the bottom shows up in the picture there, but it does not show up if you're actually looking through the sights.

Mine is a Colt 6720 but since the Stag is a flattop it will be the same setup.

I assume all of the front iron posts are the same size?

Generally yes. There are two types of fixed front sights. The F marked FSB (front site base) and the non F marked. Not sure which one your rifle has, but its easy to tell. Just look at your FSB and you'll either see an F on it or you wont. The difference in height isn't really noticeable though. Not enough difference to not cowitness a red dot.

Awesome guess I find out when I return home this weekend with that red dot. I just don't want to go through the hassle and wait of ordering a 1/2in riser.
