I am purchasing a Ruger sr556 and I am looking for a soft case for it, along with mag pouches and all the other pockets in them these days. My main question is does anyone make one with a spot for a pistol in it also??

You might look at 5.11 or Eagle. I have a Condor soft case with lots of pockets. Condor doesn’t have a great reputation for their nylon gear but this case has held up very well. I would buy it again.

Cool. MidwayUSA is a pretty stand up company to deal with/give your money to.

If money is of no concern. The Brownells discreet rifle cases are very nice. Expensive though.

I have a 5.11 and it is a good case. I don't ever really use it though. 9 times out of 10 I just throw my rifle in the truck beside me and take off.

I've got one of the 5.11 cases and while it's certainly expensive it has been well worth it to me. It's the only one I've found that will accommodate my rifle with coupled PMAGs. It does have a pocket for a pistol in the outside storage compartment. You could also store mags in there as well. The outside of the case is also covered in MOLLE so you could attach any of that stuff. I MOLLE AR mag carriers to have mags on the outside of the case. Only thing I would do over is get the double gun version to accommodate a shotgun with it.

For what it's worth, this is the same as my Condor.

I got a black one from Walmart when I bought my colt le6920.

It's black fabric with 5 or 6 pockets on one side. Was $24.99

I picked up an Uncle Mike's Assault Rifle Bag and love it.. It holds 8 PMAGs in the front pouches. Has a front zipper section that will hold two handguns in their own Velcro sleeves. Then the main compartment for the rifle. Great bag with ample storage for what I need!

I'll second that. I just picked one up on sale at natchez shooter supplies for 50$. It has 4 mag holders and molle inside the second zippered pouch to accommodate whatever you want.

I picked up a UTG softcase. The name is a little overstated but it is more discrete-looking than some. In 32" size it will just fit the length of an M4 profile. Lots of loops and velcro on the inside. Price wasn't the lowest but not too far off.
